In my 24 years of life, I have learned a lot of skills but I didn’t bring those skills to life just because I was lazy, that’s what I thought till now. In recent days, I came across an article that says a person procrastinate not because he is lazy but due to emotional regulation. Many people suffer from “Decision Fatigue” in which a person make excuse or procrastinate when there is a risk that you might fail at something or you are uncertain about the complexity. Instead, you will try to do those things whose results you are certain about.

So next time when you procrastinate and assume that you need better time management skills, see if you can solve the emotional foundation of your procrastination first, it might work for you but if it doesn’t, try these two.

1:Have some kind of reward for yourself when you complete something(even if you fail).
2:Avoid distraction around you.
