The easiest way to copy properties files into excel

properties files are great for keeping the configuration but you cant share them formally with the client. so to copy the content of properties file to Excel file, below is the easiest solution

1. Copy all the content of the properties file and paste it in the first column of the excel sheet.
2. Select the data in the first column.
3. Goto Data > Text to Columns. (Reference 1)
4. In the Convert Text to Columns Wizard, select Delimited > Next.
5. Select the Delimiters for your data. Which will be “=”. You can see a preview of your data in the Data preview window.(Reference 2)
6. Select Next.
7. Select the Destination in your worksheet which is where you want the split data to appear.
8. Select Finish.
